My name is Gabriella Braddock and I am your tour guide!
No, but really, I believe my purpose is to help lead and guide others towards their dreams. Quarter by quarter, year by year, I want to walk alongside my clients as we create a life you've dreamed of.
If this was a traditional job interview I would share that I have my bachelor's and master's in accounting as well as an associate's degree in Hospitality.
In 2013, once I graduated high school, I genuinely believed that because I loved people so much, the correct field for me would be hospitality. After taking a few economics and accounting courses, I knew that probably wasn't the correct choice. Instead, I got an amazing scholarship to attend Bloomfield College in Bloomfield, NJ. This scholarship carried me through 3 years of studies with amazing teachers and friends found along the way.
Flash forward to graduating college with an excellent GPA, resume, and a full-time job offer. I decided against accounting and my then boyfriend and I decided we wanted to conceive and start our family instead. MIC DROP!!
I failed to mention one of the most important aspects of deciding to not pursue public accounting... entrepreneurship. In the summer of 2017, after returning from working abroad in London, I was more confused than ever. My husband had finally opened his music studio in a physical location other than his bedroom, and I had a job in accounting. I extremely disliked that job!!! It taught me so much about Quickbooks but also highlighted how not to treat your employees.
Even though I was making good money, I took a leap of faith and asked my then-boyfriend if he would allow me to create his website, social media channels, as well as run events. You see, he wanted some new equipment, but we didn't have the capital to do so. I threw together an event, raised us a few thousand dollars, and invested that right back into the studio.
I WAS HOOKED!!! This was my place. For the past three years I have been helping my now Husband manage and grow this studio. I handle all of the back-end such as social media, our website, events, finances, you name it, I wear that hat! I fell in love with the people I met along this journey. People with such potential and possibilities, often crippled by the idea that their passion and love for something couldn't translate into consistent income. They would give up. Hit a wall, have no support system to fall back on, and head for the hills. I knew that if maybe if I had a coach, I would have been clearer and more consistent. I would be that change I wished to see. I would be that person for others.
Fast forward to March, I FINALLY went all in on coaching. Finding those clients who would allow me to work in their business with them. Defining goals, holding them accountable, respecting where they were on their journey. It hasn't been all sunshine and rainbows, but I know this is my purpose and my life's work. I have been working with clients one-on-one while building out my program suite. Thank you so much for taking the time to learn and understand a little bit about me. I love people and their stories and dreams, so slide in my dm's or inbox and tell me about you.
Lots of love, Gabby
